Letters - 1907.9.18 to Mr. Baring-Gould

176 College Road
Norwich
Sept. 18, 1907

Dear Mr. Baring-Gould,

It may be easier for you to bring up my resignation to the Committee in October with the knowledge of this fact that God has clearly and distinctly guided me to join an undenominational church in Norwich whose pastor is Mr. D. M. Panton, a man I rank next to Dr. Pierson in his exposition of the Word of God.

I shall, when my C.M.S. allowance ceases, trust the Lord for my support.

In this way I leave myself in God’s hands as to return to China. If the Lord wills me to return, as I believe He does, the money will be forth coming.

I am
Yours sincerely,
Margret E. Barber
