With broken dialect….One day as she lay lonely in bed with a high fever, she questioned God, ‘Did I take the wrong path somewhere? Why then am I placed in such loneliness, difficulty, and poverty?’ It was at this time that Ms. Barber wrote the following expressive hymn.”1
